BRITISH RAID SUCCESSFUL.
FURIOUS ARTILLERYING 0N FRENCH FRONT. i A. & N.Z. Cables Association and Renter Received Feb. 10, 8.45 p.m. London, February 10. Field Marshal Sir Douglas Haig reports:—We successfully raided northeast of Gueudecourt. Enemy raiding parties in three sections were dispersed by artillery fire. A French communique reports furious mutual artillerviiig. SUCCESSFUL AIR RAIDS, Amsterdam, February 15. Aeroplane raiders destroyed the railway junctions at Bruges and damaged three torpedo vessels at Zeebrugge. They aiao raided a secret submarine base near Zeebrugge. GERMANS ADMIT REVERSE. Renter Service. Received Feb. 10, 6.45 p.m. Berlin, February 15. A message states that the Germans, on Wednesday, withdrew from advanced positions between the Serre and the Somme.
