TROUBLE IN CUBA. Australian-N.Z. Cable Association. New Yofk, Feb. 14. There was a serious election riot in Cuba, and many clashes with the troops. President Menoel accepted an oii'er of rifles and ammunition from the United States. INCREASED PRICE OF OAS, Received Feb. 15, 9.5 p.m. Sydney, Feb. 14. The Court lias granted the city and suburban gas companies a 3d. to 4d. increase in the price of gas. BRITISH ORDER FOR FLOUR. Through the Central Wheat Board, the Imperial Government has placed a big order for best patents flour at a satisfactory price. TROUBLE IN ABYSSINIA. Received Feb. 15, 8.30 p.m. London, Feb. 15. An Adis Ababa correspondent reports that 0000 Government troops routed 7000 followers of Lij Eyassu, the deposed Emperor, who fled th enight before the battle, and is still uncaught. The Empress was crowned. [Adis Ababa is the capital of Abyssinia.]
