Wellington, Last Night, Present indications are for variable winds, moderate to strong south-east-erlies, backing _to northerly, north of New Plymouth and Napier, and freshening nort-herlies elsewhere soon, with fair to cloudy and warmer weather, hut increasing cloudiness for change shortly in and southward of Cook Strait. The ■barometer 'has little movement in the North, hut will fall elsewhere shortly.
