SHELLED AND SUNK.
TEE-RfliLE BUKPJSRTXGS IX OPEN BOATS. Received Fob. 14, 9.10 p.m. ViOmlon, The survivors of the Haxonian, iuuiiiieriny 3D, liave been landed. The ship was shelled and sunk on Wednesday. 'I he captain was taken prisoner. The boatswain died of wounds, and four of the crew wore, injured, including an American. One party was in an open boat for 00 hours, and suffered terribly. (United Service.) London, Feb. 13. Twenty shells were fired at the Afric. Several of the engineers were killed. One boat capsi/.ed, most of its occupants being rescued. The survivors drifted for live hours, and were, nearly frozen. The submarine commander shouted: "Goodand good luck!" AFRIC OX OUTWARD VOYAGE, Received Feb. 14, 8.33 p.m. Sydney, Feb. 14. The Minister of the Navy states that tho Australian troops aboard the Afric had disembarked some time before the sinking". The vessel was on her vovage outward. , '
