THE SUPERANNUATION BOARD. ( Wellington, Last Night. At the quarterly meeting of the Public Service Superannuation Board, nineteen contributors, retired by reason of age or length of service, were granted annual allowances, totalling ,i'3-il!), and two contributors, retired as medically unlit, were granted allowances totalling C2Ol per annum. Seventeen widows and fourteen children .vcrc granted statutory allowances aggregating .DISS per annum. In consequence of retirement, under section 3,), accrued compensation to the amount of £SI3S became a liability of the Superannuation Fund, and a corresponding relief to the Consolidated Fund. Tlie secretary reported that the total amount to the credit of the fund on 3Ut •January last was £933,102, an increase of £112,025 on the preceding year.
