Hi* Excellency the Governor has receive a telegram from the Secretary of State, for the Colonies announcing that his Majesty lias been graciously pelased to oonler the following New Year honors:— Most Honorable Order of the Bath iK.C.B.) the lion. Colonel James Allen, M.P., Minister of Defence. Companion of the Rath (CIS.). Colonel Robert Logan, A.D.C., administrator at Samoa. Kni'jht Bnrhedor, his Honor Mr. Justice I. 10. Dcimi<-foii, J'.ulgo of the Supreme Court of New Zealand. Mo-J. Distinguished Order of St. Michael and SI. ileorge (C.\1.(!.), Hon. Colonel W. 10. Collins, M.li., M.H.C.S., member of the Legislative Council of New Zealand. Further, his Ma.iestv has conferred a brevet lieutant-coloneley upon Major C. II McDonald, Royal Warwickshire Regiment, chief infantry instructor of the Dominion forces.
