DAIRYMEN'S DISABILITIES. To the Editor. Sir,—May I offer you my hearLiest congratulations on your leader of this morning's issue? I have looked in vain for many months past in the various papers for some protest on behalf oi the Taranaki dairy farmers. It is probably well known to you that during the last decade daily farmers who have been dependant on labor other than that of their own families have'carried on with very great difficulty owing to. the shortage of labor for. milking, etc., and now that conscription has come upon us things have become "impossible."- I will now just give you an example of what is probably the general position in the Taranaki province.
