BRITISH RED CROSS FUNDS. ■By Telegraph.'— Press Association. Invcrcargill. Feb. 6. The King's appeal in connection with tiie British Rod Cross has drawn a magnificent response from the people of ..Southland. The treasurer has transmitted £4(100 to Wellington, and there are still some amounts to come in, while it H certain that Southland will occupy a gratifying position when the figures for the whole Dominion are available.
