According to a Sydney oable, there were many expressions of regret there on receipt of th news of Dr. McNab'a death.
Lieutenant-Colonels P. A. Lindsay and E. Jennings (examining officers) and Captain T. Casserley (attesting officer), members of the Wellington District Medical Board, left New Plymouth yes. t.'i'day for Stratford.
Mr. Alf. Linlcy, touring manager for J. and N. Tait, was in New Plymouth yesterday, making arrangements for a three nights' season of Mr. Lawrence Campbell, who will present "The Sentimental Illoke," commencing on Thursday, loth inst.
