' ■Present indications are for a continuance of easterly gales in the Northern districts, and for moderate to strong and increasing east to south-east winds elsewhere. Considerable rain is probable in the Northern and East Coast portions of the North Island, and elouly to outcast jonditions, with scattered rain following, elsewhere. The barometei is likely to fall further in the North, but lias a /ising tendency in the Southern districts. I -
