Signal success attended the initial opening of the mart in (Devon street on Saturday lyider the auspices of a committee representing the Red Cross Society and the Women's Patriotic League. As the result of the combined efforts of tllie two organisations a .great amount of business was donewer the counter and at the stalls. The ladies worked in harmony and manifested great seal an<l energy. The proceeds exceeded £24.
