CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS.
FURTHER FACILITIES OFFERED. It has been decided Ijy the Defence authorities that volunteers previously njected are to be allowed to re-enlist. Tlicy may come before the District Medical Board voluntarily for re-exam-ination. If passed fit in the A, 13, or C. class they will, of course, rank as ordinary volunteers for active service. If c'assed D by the Medical Board they will t:e struck off the Reserve and will ,ie thus absolved from all military service. Volunteers previously rejected who desire to be examined by the District Medical Board must first be attested, and if the Medical Board is not sitting at the time t'.ie recruit will be giver, a leave pass without pay until the date of the medical examination, 1 Obviously unfit men will r.ot be sworn in, but will be required to answer all attestfit ; on questions, and will be called up for medical examination by the District Board. No pay will b) allowed for, any of these iren, except for the time occupied in coming up for the medical examination. Men classed .1.) will not receive pay. Volunteers :;l,oiu! arrange wliero possible to report for re-enlistment on ilic date of sitting of the Medical Boarl. vhich will sit as follows:—New Plymouth, February 3 and 17, from !> n.m. till () p.m.; Stratford, February 5 ard J ft, from !> a.m. till !i p.m.; Hawera.
