Sergeant D, and Private 11. C. Hunter (Taranaki), of athe N.Z.R.8., are, according to mailed advice despatched on December 14, staying at Princes Square, London W.
Private W. Anderson, son of Mrs. Anderson, Stratford, is due to arrive in Auckland from active service to-day. Private Anderson has been declared medically unlit. Captain Erh N. Webb, son of Mr. S. R "Webb, of Papanni, who has been awarded a Military Cross for his service during the Sornme battle, is attached to the Engineers in the Australian Imperial Forces, and he left Australia in November, 11)15. Prior to his joining tl e forces he was on Dr. Mawson's staff as magnetic observer.
Mr. C. P. Minnitt, inspector of tli? New Zealand Insurance Company, >vill leave- for TCnghnd this week for the purpose of placing his services at the disposal of the Imperial authorities, to bs used by them in any capacity.
