Auckland, Jan. 22, The dead body of the man found in the harbor has been identified as tliat of 'Peter Cornwall, apparently from Tauma,r«nui; he has been an inmate of the hospital there. At the inquest, a witness stated that he saw deceased jump off the wharf. Cther evidence showed that he was suffering from cancer of the tongue, and had been given a month to live. RUN DOWN BY A TRAIN. Foxton, Jan. 22, A gig, containing Robert Green, his wife and nephew, was run into by a train when attempting to negotiate a crossing on the Foxton side of Motuiti flag stafion on Saturday night.
