1 MEETING OF UMIMITTEE. A meeting of the general committer of tlic Taranaki Agricultural Society was held on Saturday afternoon. Present: Messrs. W. B. Grant (in the chair), J. E. Hill, A. Lister, W. Hall, F. Hodson, H. C Sampson, S. Topless. A. T. Moore, J. Mien, T. Luxton, H. Lepper, E. H. Pigott, 0 W. P.ilebe, and W. Scott. An apology for abse'ifa was received from Mr. J. S. It was reported that £1307 9s 2d ha/1 'cen expended on the new grounds tr. date. Good progress was being made with the work.
