ALL THE TROOPS -SAVED. Sydney, January 20. The Underwriters' Association have been advised that,the Australian liner ■'Pert Nicholson (formerly the Makarini) has been lost. N'o details aio given, beyond mentioning that it was a war loss. She was homeward bound with a large Queensland and Sydney general cargo. Advices have been received in Melbourne that all the Port Nicholson's troops wore landed before the ■ vessel sank. NO LIVES LOST.
