Professor Laby, acting-ecretary of the Round Table, states that, in reply to a cable sent to London, he received the following from one whose knowledge of the facts cannot be questioned: —''.Mattel's vitally . affecting Australia are certain to be discussed at the Imperial Conference. It is of the .jtmost importance that Australia should seiul the most authoritative representative possible,"
