We conducted, in the neighborhood of Lens, important raids with complete success, on the German positions southward- of Cite Calonne, and westward of Lens, which position: we entered late on Tuesday. Undei cover of heavy bombardment, we reached the support ilinv, and bombed and destroyed dugfcuts. inflicting many casualties, our losses being small. The Canadians, at daylight to-day, successfully raided north-east of Cite Calonne. and entered the trenches on a 1 front, of 700 yards with a depth of 300 to the second line.
