[.'SCAPES FROM DETENTION CAMP. i ONE DRESSED AS A WOMAN Received Jan. IS, 10 p.m. Sydney, Jan. 18. A railway official at ITornshy, who was suspicious of the actions of a welldicssed couple purchasing tickets in order to travel by the Brisbane mail, called the police. The supposed husband end wife were discovered to be men, who had rctently escaped from the detention c&mp. The "husband" indignantly protested against the treatment. The "wife" was dressed in the latest fashion, being painted and powdered.
