Osmond (Auckland) beat Spiller (United) 20-18. Osmond started by getting a oig lead, but through consistent play on the part of United the scores were equalised at the nineteenth head. In the final, Martin (Turanganui) heit Ferguson (Tc Hiwi), 18-14 The game Mas even throughout, Martin's win b-;-ing due to his superior drawing. TARANAKI TOURNAMENT. FOUTY-FOUGt RINKS ENTER. The Taranaki Bowling Centre .Tournament will be held from January 23 to January 20 on the three New Plymonth greens. Forty-four entries have been received, seventeen clubs taking part. Every club in the Taranaki Centre with the exception or Manaia is represented. Okato and Auroa, the two youngest clubs in Taranaki, will each make their first appearance at a Centre Tournament. Several rinks from Waverley and Patea have entered, and additional interest will be added by the presence of rinks from Gonville, St. John's, and Palmerston North. The towr clubs have • entered freely, New Plymouth being represented by six rinks, Fitzroy by five, and West Endby four, whih Stratford has five rinks and Hawera four. .The rinks have been drawn as follow-: Section A.—Wyllie (Waitara), Morey (New Plymouth), Moreshoad (Gonville), drivers (Fitzroy), McKcnzie (Waverley), J.
