A scheme and regulations will shortry bo. issued providing for the creation of a ntmibci of agricultural bursaries (probably a dozen annually), oi the vaue ot .€■2o each, ,vith £3O ooardiug allowance, for those living a\vny from home. The bursaries will be tenable for '.wo yean at any Oovernment experimental farm oi agricultural college, or ctner similar institution. Entrants must have passed matriculation, and be prepared to fit themselves to Become experts in tl-e Agricultural Department, special teachers of agriculture in secondary 'schools, or scientific farmers. The scheme h estimated to cost .-£6OO yearly, of whiofc the Agricultural and Silucatton Dei art* luents will each pay half.
