A WELL DIVERSIFIED FAMILY PROGRAMME TO-NIOHI. Nine well-selected and judiciously varied pictures comprise the new programme to be presented at the Empire Theatre to-night and to-morrow. Amongst the pictures is a fine sporting picture, showing the race for the lfllfj Grand National Steeplechase, and a scries of views of "London, Past end Presents A good idea of the -'Far North" is conveyed per medium of a picture showing "Views of the Po'ar Regions," and the latest war news is shown- in U,e "Topical Budget-' and '•Fruits of Victory on the Somme." Hie variety is sustained with two short dramatic pictures, -A Republican i Marriage" and "OJaf-An Atom," but pictures revealing 0 sound . theme with excellent photography and superior acting. The programme concludes with a star comedy by tiie Triangle-Keystone producers, "Hearts and Sparks."" It is. described as a "milc-a-mimite" fun film, produced in the inimitable Keystone style. This is a programme that will give pleasure to both old and young, and is aptly described as a "family" programme.

•"STINT-ARE" AGAIN AT MATINEE AND NIGHT SESSIONS, SATURDAY. Picture patrons will be delighted tc hear that the final adventure of the popular and dashing "Stingaree" have now come to hand, the eleventh episode, "The Moth and the Star," being the chief attraction en the change of programme to be screened at the matinee and night session at the Empire Theatre on Saturday. In this picture "Stingaiee" makes an audacious escape fro mgaol, attends a concert in borrowed pluisos, is discovered and imprisoned once more-all in the spa;e ol a day. Owing to the films being late em circuit, the "Stingaree'* programme will be screened for Saturday only. 'Here is only one more adventure, "The Darkest Hour," to conclude series, and this picture will hi shown at the Empire on Saturday .veok.
