ARTILLERY ACTIVITY, 1 London, Jan 15. A French communique states'.—There is fairly great artillery activity on the Ancre and -between the Abn: ' and the Argonnc. DARING -ESCAPE FROM LIEGE. ■Paris, Jan. 15. . The extraordinary exploit of 103 inhabitants of Liege who escaped to Holland is reported. They got possession of an old tug, and drifted during the night down the swollen river Meuse, despite all sorts of obstacles, including cables across the river. The pilot was protected by armor plating, and the y.assengers remained below, thus escaping machinegun fire by German sentries. '
