Details concerning the Rafa campaign disclose, a brilliant (victory, attributable to the dogged perseverance of the Australian Light Horse and the New Zealand Mounted Rifles, supported by the Uritish Yeomanry Brigade, Camel Corps, Territorial Horse, and artillery. The action lasted from ten o'clock until dusk. The Australians and New Zeaiandcrs won the trenches at sunset, fust us three oi foui thousand Turkish rein•nivcmcnts appeared three miles eastward of Rafa. They were held up in the most gallant way, the Wellington lieginient being detached for the purpose. It may be truthfully said that the attackers fought at the finish with only seconds to spare, and carried injly elaborate system 0 f six lines of entrenchments.
