Wellington, Last Night An Order-inCouneil v.ms gazetted tonight, prohibiting the export of cheese* to any destination, other t'ir.n cheese sold and consigned to tho Government of the Cnited Kingdom A further proclamation tn the Gazette states that for the Government purchase of cheese the price is to he per lb., first grade, and !>%d second grade, f.o.b. If adequate supplies are not b'lrtained by the contract of purchase. the necessary supplies will bo obtained by seizure or requisition, in exercise of the King's prerogative, of under the powers conferred by the Regulation of Trade and Commerce Act, 1014. or the Wai Regulations .Amendment Act, 1915 (No. 2), as file ease may require.
