Foul ratepayers of Fillis Street—W. H. Iluggett, (J. llollard, Winifred Morev, and B. fT. Bullock—wrote asking the Council to complete the formation of Fillis Street between Liardet street and Govov Street.

The Engineei reported that the levels would be taken and an estimate would be prepared showing the cost of constructing Fillis Street, which was pra.ticallv unformed. '

It was resolved tc defer the request! The Engineer submitted a report of the condition of Devon Street from Waiwakailio bridge to Liardet Street, and an estimate of the variou. sections.
