MUNITION FACTORIES CLOSED. HEAVY GUNS UNUSED. Received Jan. 15, 0.10 p.m. Paris, jan. 15. Deputy Violette, reporting to the Government, on the necessity of Parliamentary control, cites the position in February, 1015, and itates that the greater part- of the factories were closed owing to mobilisation. The private dashed out shouting "Come, on; men-" as if leading troops. The Germans retired hurriedly, but returned wAen they saw tucy had been' fooled, and were mowed down by 7.Vs. >vhich the private's bravery hadenabled to arrive. Subsequently the private was found at his post, wounded.
