OKATO CLUB flic Okato Club is at present pljyirg a handicap singles tournament, each member having seventeen matches to play. An enjoyable game was played at Okato on Thursday, when a rink, from Fitzroy, comprising Healy, J. Bennett, A. Avery and Price (s), met an Okato rink (Thompson, Leedom, Franks, and Roebuck, p.) in a game qf 2;> heads. At the conclusion of the 2oth heat" Okato lead 23 to ]<), U was then decided to play 30 beads. At the 29th head the score was 24 all. Fitzroy burnt the next head, and. in trying to do likewise, Okato left their opponents 5. The gamt tlius ended Fitzroy 2!), Okato 24.
