A Russian official report states: An • enemy attack Sl dense formation ut Kalncem was beaten back. An enemy aerial squadron bombed the town of Raozivilov. The enemy was pressed baik in detachments on a height norta wards of the Sloniki river. The Roumanians attacked westward of Monesterka and 'Caehinul and threw the enemy back. They occupied the trenches. A Qerman bfficial report states: We sanguinarily repulsed the majority of the British attacks at Serre. The enemy occupied an advanced post. We further progressed northward of the Slanio Valley. The turks stormed Mihalea, northwest of Braila, taking 400 of the garrison prisoners. The remainder were drowned in the Sereth.
