MARRIAGE BELLS. SIMPSON—SIMOXS. A quiet wedding was celebrated at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, New Plymouth, on Wednesday, December 27, the contracting parties being Mr. 0. P. I Simpson, youngest son of Mrs. J. SimpMangorei, and Miss Hilda Simons, eldest daughter of Sir. T. V. Simons, of Vogeltown. The ceremony was performed by the Kev. F. Hale. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a dainty "costume of white silk, finished with a. beautiful white ostrich boa, and a pale pink and violet crepe de chine hat, trimmed with pink rosebuds. She carried a lovely bouquet of white j flowers. The bridesmaid was Miss Elsie Simons, sister of the bride, who wore ! a tussore silk costume, with black lace hat, trimmed with pink berries. There was one small maid, Miss Elsie Wallath, niece of the bridegroom, who wore a dainty cream lace frock, "with cream hat, 'trimmed with pale blue and pink. She carried a basket of lovely pink (lower's. The bridegroom was supported bv Mr. 11. V. Simons, brother of the bride. After the ceremony a small reception was held at the bride's residence, at which relatives and very intimate friends were present.
