ASKARIS IN A PANIC Johannesburg, Jan. 11. Twenty-flye members of General Xuthey's column dispersed 250 Germans. Jhey fought the whole day, and eventually the Askaris took a panic and retired with SS casualties, when the defenders had two cartridges left Five of General Northey's men were killed.
