Colonel Castleton, however, decrees that the hoy must so fc college and "have his fling." A tearful parting be-' tv/een the two young people follows; but, arrived in New York, "Spore Castleton, as the young fellow is called, "goes the pace," and is trapped into a most unsuitable marriage with a cabaret dancer, the daughter of a once-celebrated prima donna, one of the Lionel's former flames Colonel Castleton tries., to buy the girl off. but she states that she will insist on claiming her place as his son's wife. For the sake of the family name the old man determines, means of a runaway "accident," most" realistically filmed, to get rid of-the girl sacrificing his own life to do so. The play, though not without a lighter und a very charming side, is a most powerful one-; and the development of the drama ivas followed with the keenest mteres'.. Topical filmrecords of. current events, a very amusing comedy, and a pleasing colored picture of young lion cubs ai play complete an attractive bill of fare.
