PROBATIONERS APPOINTED. At a meeting of a committee of the Taranaki Education Board vesterdav, the appointment of the following probationers was recommended.—Bell Block, Miss Ivy Earp: Kaimata, Miss Maggie Parli; Omata, Miss Ellon Warren: Toko, Miss .Margaret Thonip-'-n; Central, Miss Edna White: Inalenocd. Miss Eileen Campbell; Wnitara. Miss Marion Knight; West End, Miss Rlsic Bullard; Wbangamomoiia, Miss Jvv Hodder; Stratford, Mr. Richard Muiiiby; Stratford, Miss Janet McLean; Man'aia, Miss Linda Hight. PUPIL TEACHERS The appointment of pupil teachers was recommended as follows:—Stratford. Miss A. Fitzgerald; Stratford, Miss L. Scott; Stratford, Miss C. Fori; Waitara, Mr. W. Dean. TRANSFER OF TEACHERS The transfer of Stephenson (pupil teacher) from the Ratapiko to the Tariki school, and Mr. Hall (pupil teacher) from the- Tariki to the Midhirst school, was recommended. The Normanby school having fallen in attendance, the committee recommended that Miss C. Reid (pupil teacher) be transferred from there to the Eltliam school.
