The followers of Admiral von Tirpitz arc angry at Mr. Gerard's speech, and they favor llcrr ITolJweg's party. Count Revcnt'low, in the course of a violent attack, supported the demand for Air. Gerard's recall. He interprets Mr. Gerard's speech as a threat of worse relations between the United States and Germany if the present Herman leaders are changed, and adds that the threat is unmistakable, the United States having reached itR political aims, regarding Germany. The banquet was given to.celebrate the event.
