Present indications are for moderate t-> strong southerly winds, veering to westerlies northward of New Plymouth and Castlepoint, and freshening nortberlies and westerlies prevailing shortly elsewhere. Expect fair to cloudy conditions in East Coast distiicts, a'nd increasing haze and cloudiness generally, with change following. The barometer will be falling everywhere soon.
