STORMY WEATHER. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Jan. !}. The Mararoa arrived from Lyttelton this morning two hours late. Her decks were continually awash and a quantity of water found its way into the saloon. HISSING WOMAN FOUND Carterton, .Tan. 0. The woman, Hilda Kokerstein, who was reported missing yesterday, was discovered about 8.30 last night hiding behind an advertising'hoarding. Previously she had spent her time in a- clump of alder bushes a little distance away. She was brought before the court this morning, charged with attempting to commit suicide, and was remanded to Wellington to appear on Monday. In the lr.iantime she will undergo medical tuatment.

Rain commenced to fall at 0 p.m. yesterday and continued throughout the night, the fall to f1.30 this morning being 1.375 inches.
