TARANAKI AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY.
The Taranaki Metropolitan Society U holding its first autumn show at its splendid new show grounds, Waiwakaiho, 011, February 2S and March 1. The executive lias made a great effort to infuse new life and vigor into the society, and it is hoped the public will respond by giving the show generous support by way of confidence in the efforts of the prepare a new show ground up-to-date 111 every detail. The accommodation for live stock is The stalls are roofed in, and there Is an ample supply of water handy. The. committee specially appointed for looking after the fodder supply report that- there is an abundant supply of green feed. The exhibitor with the valuable horse, eow, sheep, or whatever his exhibit may be, need 'have no anxiety whatever about his stocky as nil the facilities that could be de-' sired for showing stock to the best advantage are available. A glance at the schedule will be sufficient to convince all who have made up their minds to attend the show that there will be plenty to interest them. It has been arranged with the utmost care by those who have had the experience of years. To visitors who have made up their minds to attend Taranaki's big feature we would say: Get in early, as accommodation in New Plymouth is always taxed to its utmost at show-time. The trams will be running every fifteen minutes from Egmont Street, New Plymouth, to within a few minutes' walk of the grounds. Exhibitors bringing stock by train should consign to Smart Road station, ■which is quite handy to the New Show Grounds. Entries close definitely on Saturday, February 17.
