Wellington, Jan. ri •Tames Baldwin, who escaped from a Mount Cook prison gang on August .1, and was recaptured at Wanganui 01: Deeembfjj- 2!). pleaded guilty to-day to a charge of escaping from legal custody, and was sentenced to two years' reformative treatment, to commence when his present sentence. .of three years' treatment expires.
