BOROUGH OF NEW .PLYMOUTH. is hereby given that at a special meeting of the New Plymouth Borough Council, held on MONDAY, the 11th day oDecember, IPM, the following resolution was pass*'.— "That on and after the 3rd day of April, 1317, the total number of Members of the New Plymouth Borough Council be eight (exclusive of the Mayor, and that in pursuance of the provisions of 'The Municipal Corporations Act, 1908," the whole Council go out of office on the above date, and there shall be a fresh election of Councillors." And notice is hereby also given that the said resolution will be submitted to an Ordinary Meeting of the said Council to be held at the Borough Council Offices, situate in Liardet Street, New Plymouth, on MONDAY, the Bth day of January, 1917, at 7.30 p.m., for confirmation as a special order.
