BREAKING-UP CEREMONY. At the breaking-up ceremony in connection with the Omata school, which took place at the Omata Hall on Friday evening last, the following prizes were distributed:— Place prizes (one prize given for each three in class).—Standard 0: M. Most popular boy (by vote): B. Bayly. iMost popular girl (by vote): K. Morris. Teachers' prizes gained for most marks during the year—Given by M. Meyenberg: Standard 3, M. Kendell; Standard 4, L. Seamark; Standard 5, V. Kendell; Standard 6, V. Smith. The prize given by Mesdamcs Swanwick and Kidd, for the best buttonholes, was won by W. Mace (Standard 4), while that given by the sam 6 ladies for th# largest family present was divided between Sanger and Seamark (a tic)
