Homan, who has been engaged on the Stratford Post's literary staff fcr some time, left this week to take un duties on the Pnkekohe paper His wide circle of friends wish him good luck in his new labor, and plenty of sunshine in the northern town.

It is not often that the .press is taken to tusk. At the County Council meeting Cr. Baskin complained that he had been misrepresented at the last meeting. He had referred to a certain piece of good work done by the engineer. He meant the railwnv engineer, but the press took it that the countv engineer was the gentleman referred to. One of the scribes asked' the Council if it was suggested that they wilfulh misreported tli> meeting. Councillors were agreed that the newspapers were very impartial.
