A number ofl'J acceptable* selections were contribut*4K J by the band, notably the idyll, "TiieiC*. Harvest Moon;" the march, '"Queen ofllj the* North;'' and 'The Harmonlou«|C° Blacksmith." The Christmas carols wer»| 1 beautifully rendered, and ' were much], 1 ! enjoyed. Mrs. Mackellar, of Welling* $ ton, gang ''Here's to Love and tor." T!ie soloist has a melodiouis voiced " ; and the worcU of he: song rang distinct! / n:id clep. She was warmly applauded?;* and was recalled twice. ,Mr F. W. G, -1 McLeod gave the cornet solo, "The <LJMf(-«4 Chord," which lib rendered perfectly., A{ .plcndid programme concluded with the;/*' glorious ••Hallelujah Chorus" and thaj „i National Anthem. " •>
