A communique states:—South of the Somme the enemy bombarded the hectors of Belloy-en-Santerre. Belmy, Pre> soire, and" Ablaincourt. We vigorously repulsed. There is' intermittent artillerying elsewhere. A French conyiumique says:—There is nothing important on the West front. Rain and fojr are interferini: with operations in Macedonia. General Sir Douglas Haig rqiurts: Tlie enemy artillery is particularly active In the neighborhood of Kaueourt L Abbe. We successfully bombarded the lines eastward of Fauquiesart. Paris, Dec. 20. A communique states: There is lively riciprr.cal artillerying on the right of the Mcusc. Intermittent artillerying prevails elsewhere.
