FIRE.

OUTBREAK IX WELLINGTON. By Telegraph.'—Press Association, Wellington, Last Night. A fire broke out this evening in the tailors' workshop at the Terrace gaol. A room, about fiOi't. by 20ft, occupies the upper floor of "the miilding, the ground portion whereof being used as general store rooms. . The flames had a good hold when the outbreak was observed. The tailors' shop was completely gutted, but the store rooms were undamaged by the fire, though completely soaked by water. No one was 011 the premises after 5 o'clock. The origin of tho fire is unknown. There is no estimate yet oi the damage.
