The present holders o£ the Stratford Club's "ferns"—S. Sanderson and C. Jackson—successfully defended them on Friday from the challengers, W. Faget and W. Leversedge, the scores being 18 to 4 in favor of the holders. I The Stratford bowlers intend moving round during'the holidays. The following rinks will Wanganui: J. Lyons, J. S. McDonald, C.
