LONDON* WOOL SALES. Ai,stralian-N.Z. Cable Association. Loudon, Dec. 1-.1. At the wool sales T'Jiil bales were <:atalogued. There were fairly good offerings of South African and New Zealand wool, but the Australian merino: were small secondhand parcels. Prior to the sale the Chairman of the Woolbuyers' Association announced the result of the negotiations with the Army Council. Sales were .allowed to proceed without restrictions. This enabled dealers and small top-makers to operate. Consequently there was good, general j co-operation. . It was evident requirements were' urgent. An all-round advance of 7% to 10 per cent, was established over tlieh November closing sales. Direct consignments from the growers will be offered immediately after Christmas. " ' The Bradford market is unchanged, with a firm tone, awaiting the result of the London auctions.
