General Sir Douglas Haig reports: We entered trenches in the neighborhood of Mnichy-au-Boifi, southward of Arras, and bombed dugouts full of troops. The enemy attempted a raid in the neighborhood of Ilullneh, but were put to flight. Wt bombarded and fired » dump in the neighborhood of Pys. A Paris communique states: There is fairly lively artillery action south of the Somme, on both banks of the Meusp, and on heights south of Bonhominc.
