Company, announced that the Poona, carrying no passengers, and bound to India and Australia, was either mined or torpedoed off Beachy Head on December G, and was damaged badly. War vessels assisted her to port, where she is repairing. CAT'TAIX HLAIKJE'S CASE. London, Dec. 14. It i; announced that the Government is taking such action as is thought necessary relative to the ease of Captain Blaikie. SUBMARINE PROMISES. Berlin, Dec. lb. Herr Zimmermann, interviewed, said the submarine promises will be kept.
