MXSSASE FROM MB. MASSEY. ? Sj Telegraph.—Preu Association. • Wellington, Dec. 9. The following telegram from the Et Eon. Mr. Massey, at London, has been received by the acting-prime. Minister, toe Hon. J. Allen, dated December 7, IMS:— "1 have now had the opportunity of meeting; British citizens in England, Scotland and Ireland, and everywhere jre haw lieud the strongest expressions of appreciation of what New Zealand has done in Maittiug the Empire throughout the anient war. Since my arrival in Bnglknd I have not heard a single disMrdant note regarding the Dominion's iction. From his Majesty the King 'town to the humblest citizen all are loud pi their praise of the military capacity |f New Zealand soldiers and their splenfid behaviour while on leave. The highe*t Imperial officers speak in terms of unstinted pmise of our soldiers at the front.
