S-tth REINFORCEMENTS, CHRISTMAS AT HOME. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Dep. 7. The mobilisation of the 24th Reinforcement?. will begin 011 January 2. and will lie continued during the succeeding days. The draft is to contain a considerable number of compulsedly enlisted recruits, but there will he no distinction between tli« two classes of men. The 24th Rein fovcements will be the largest draft rc-or-.'icd at the training camps for some time, since it will include the men required to cover recent shortages. The postponement of the mobilisation of the 24th Reinforcements from nex£ week until the first week in January will not entail delay in the departure of the draft from New Zealand. The regular four-weekly dispatch of reinforcements will be maintained, but the December draft will have a shorter period of training in this country than is usual.
